I’m a residential architect and an architecture instructor at the College of Marin, a community college in Kentfield, California.

I listen to my clients’ needs and include them in the design process. We talk about light, sound, touch, how their home will function, and how they will feel as they move through it. We generate designs that will enrich their daily lives.

I believe in teamwork. During design and construction I work closely with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.

As a teacher, I emphasize problem solving and encourage designs that are personal, functional, and elegant.  I help students to develop new skills and to build on their individual strengths.
